Our last day at Yellowstone was very wet and cold. We made plans to go to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone instead of driving in the park and braving the traffic. What a treat! We saw about four wolves and two grizzlies. Learned a lot about the animals at the exhibits and speaking with employees at the park.
All of the bears were relocated from the wild to protect them and humans. I forgot if maybe some of the wolves were born in captivity or not. The wolves are fed by donations of elk meat, bones, and (some) vegetables from hunters and restaurants.
