Chris and I went up to Vancouver Island, B.C. to see his Aunt Sue and Uncle Dave’s new home in Nanaimo. We took the ferry that we meant to take 12 years ago with our fifth-wheel but ended up chickening out because it would’ve been $500 or something. Anyway, long car and ferry ride aside, the actual island was great! We’re def going back. Next time going crabbing or fishing or something too. Not enough time to see and do everything that needed to be done and seen. More time is needed to see Abkhazi Garden, totem poles at Royal British Columbia Museum, licorice at the Wooden Shoe, and Coombs Old Country Market (leave extra room for ice cream and donuts).
