We chose a very easy 2 mile hike (on account of my cold) in Roxborough Park. The rocks and hills were amazing. The park is about 30 minutes outside of Denver and you can see the city from the park. But while you’re in the park it really seems like you’re away from it all. The park was orginally private land owned by a guy in the late 1800’s who wanted to develop it into a playground for the rich
There were lots of deer. Lots of them. They were hanging out near the start of the trail and close to the end. The deer seemed pretty tame and used to humans. They stood there a few yards away and stared at us as we walked by.
