Hey Everyone!
Chris told you that I passed tryouts for the local roller derby here in Denver. Well I took my skills and oral test and passed! I’m registering my name as Edie I. Mean. My number will be Old 97 (as in The Wreck of) I wanted the number 42 (the ultimate answer according to Douglas Adams) but it seems like someone on the team already has it.
I haven’t been recruited to a specific team yet. There is a separate team for girls who haven’t been recruited yet. It’s called the Kill Scouts (it’s the farm team).
I have to join a couple of committees for my service to the league. Haven’t decided yet, but in the meantime I am making the trophies for the league’s opening bout with Pikes Peak Derby Dames. I’ll post a picture of the trophies once finished!
