I assembled my new CNC machine it didn’t work properly. It turns out I might have put one part in backward, so I decided that my old CNC works great for now, so I’ll keep using it until it fails and hopefully they’ll get all the bugs worked out of the new onw. I waited for a long time to assemble the first one and had relative easy time cutting with it, so I’m hoping it works out like that for the new one.
I posted my woes on Facebook and some old campmates asked my if I could cut a bike rack for them. I said sure, they sent me the file, and we started cutting. The computer said it would take 24 hours to cut out, which worked out to about three days of cutting while I watched it remotely.
Here’s the bike rack in the shop:
They finished it and it survived it’s first Burning Man and will make an appearance next year.
