Aw man! We just got back from Brooklyn a couple of days ago. Loved, loved, loved Brooklyn. How does a city manage to squeeze so much commercial and residential space so close together? I wish there was a pizza joint, Chinese restaurant, bakery, hardware store, pet boutique, Dr. Who-themed bar, and Caribbean grocery store within walking distance from our house!
Lynne, my fabulous mom-in-law and Paul, her partner in crime (and equally fabulous step-father-in-law) rented a condo in Brooklyn and invited us to stay with them. We joined them and hilarity ensued…(ok, not quite a sitcom, more like a regular travel show episode).
All four of us took a taxi from La Guardia to the condo together. On the way to Brooklyn it started to rain. There was even a hurricane warning! Once inside we were fine. The condo was inside a four-floor brownstone. I didn’t take a picture of it. Two bedrooms, small kitchen, large common area and high ceilings.
The next day we were off to explore NYC. These pics are taken from several days in the city.
