Japan Day 14 – Tokyo to Honolulu

This is our last day in Japan and we’re headed to Hawaii, so we decided to try Japanese pancakes in a Hawaiian style Japanese restaurant after packing our bags and checking out:

Then we did some last minute shopping to kill time before the bus took us to the airport:

Social media makes you think that this is fun and exciting. In reality, locals hate it and you look like a tool dressed as a Furry and driving in slow-motion behind a lead vehicle on busy city streets.

Then the shuttle took us to the airport.

We checked in with just three bags that weighed, 22kg, 21kg, and 29kg (158lbs for those in the USA). We’re glad Business class gave us a maximum of 70lb per bag, but we’ll have to re-arrange some stuff later on when we get to Southwest. And it turns out that our business class tickets got us through the rapid security line and access to the Japanese AIrlines lounge, which was very nice.

Lina never got a chance to get Japanese sushi, so she stopped in the food court to scratch that itch. No pictures, she didn’t want to share her food with her camera.
