They’re back! Manic Basil, domineering Sybil and the hopelessly confused Manuel in a hilarious interactive show. Internationally acclaimed by critics and audiences alike since 1997; sold out at Edinburgh Fringe since 2008. Ticket includes two-hour show and three-course meal. A must-see for all ages – but book early: this show sells out! ‘Brilliantly played… utterly delicious entertainment’***** (Edinburgh Evening News) ‘Best show at the Festival… ingenious’ *****(Sunday Express). Sidesplitting’ ***** (FringeReview.co.uk). ‘The cast played a blinder… absolutely spot-on’ ***** (Irish Times). ‘Unnervingly good impersonators’ ***** (Daily Telegraph).
I think this was best show of the Fringe for us. Basil couldn’t pronounce my last name of course, then asked us with disgust if we’d just come from the beach after looking at our wardrobes. As we were walking away, he also snidely suggested I use on the razors they would make available. Manuel was fantastic and had us in snitches for most of the show. They used bits and pieces from different episodes throughout the meal including Manuel tossing breadrolls from across the room onto tables, Basil betting on a horse, and Manuel losing his rat.
A good time was had by all. My camera sucks and they were moving pretty fast so it was difficult to get any good shots. Here’s what we could get.
