I made this skirt the first week that I had my copy of Stitch and Bitch: Happy Hooker back in March. I went to the first yarn shop I saw and bought them out of the most yarn they had in a single color. The skirt in the book was purple and would have been a more flattering color, but I couldn’t wait to start crocheting! I got a few compliments on it the first time I wore it out. One of them was from a little 8 yr old girl in a mall so I wasn’t sure if that was really a good thing coming from a person who probably likes the Olsen twins and just grew out of liking Barney the Dinosaur. I was happy when some adults commented on it too.
