Burning man is the big festival that happens in Nevada on Labour Day long weekend. There are also regional burns that happen around the world and Colorado’s regional burn was called Apogaea. Elsewhence was created last year with the principles and participants of burning Man coming together for an intimate weekend of fun and frivolity.
Theo and Mike Dees created the Tiki Ghetto camp this year and they graciously allowed me to camp with them this year after I decided to go at the last minute. They created a fabulous tiki oasis in the mountains with glow in the dark ping pong and crowd favorite zipline bowling (patent pending).
