Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Mai

Here is the main reason we came to Chiang Mai – to see the elephants at Elephant Nature Park. It’s an experience I’ll remember for a long time. There were so many different day trip excursions to choose from. I finally chose the Pamper a Pachyderm experience. We walked the elephants down to the river and up a hill. Finally we stopped for a break and had lunch ourselves. Walked the elephants a little more, taking them back to the river for a bath. Then we got on a bus and went on a whitewater river rafting trip down the river back to the elephant park.
