After five long years, we finally made it back to see the Art Car Parade in Trinidad, CO!
We saw all of our favorites from 2017 plus a couple new ones. The Art Car Museum moved to a new location in town. It’s a little smaller, but it’s less expensive for the museum. Our friends Pam and Brad also came down to see the parade. We rented a small 3 bedroom house on AirBnB and explored Trinidad together.
Many of the restaurants that we remembered from last time were no longer there, but there was an eclectic restaurant at the Sunset Bar and Grille. It was strange to see sushi, Indian, Thai, and American cuisine all wrapped up together on one menu.
The mosaic on this car is made up of custom hand-made glass tiles and depict scenes from around Colorado.
